Privacy notice
Know Me Best™ is operated by New Age Consulting AI LLC (“we”, “us”). We are the data controller for the personal information described here. Last updated 21 September 2026.
What we collect
- Host details (Party Mode): the first name you enter, the facts you type for your questions, the game title and occasion, and an email address only if you choose to give one for recovery or receipts.
- Player details (Party Mode): the display name and avatar color a guest picks, their answers, timing and score. We never ask players for an email address, phone number or date of birth.
- Daily challenge data: a pseudonymous player identifier tied to a browser or device token (never a named account), the daily session identifier and its date, the five locked prediction choice numbers and any optional confidence values sent with them, the choice numbers you select as your own answers, and your result, streak and lifetime accuracy totals.
- Technical data: a random identifier stored in your browser so we can rate-limit abuse and reconnect you after a refresh, plus basic request logs.
- Purchase data: handled by our payment processor, Stripe. We store the transaction reference and status, never card details.
What we never receive from Muse
Know Me Best does not receive or read Muse memories, conversation history or any other personal context. For the daily challenge we receive only question identifiers, choice numbers and an optional confidence number. Muse makes its predictions itself, from whatever context it already has.
Copying an answer summary to Muse
Know Me Best never sends your answers to Muse automatically. If you choose to copy and paste an answer summary into Muse, that transfer is initiated by you. Once you submit the text to Muse, Meta's terms and privacy policies govern how Muse processes and retains it.
Adults only
Know Me Best is for adults aged 18+. We ask everyone to confirm this before creating, joining or playing. We don't collect birthdates or ID, so this is self-attested and not verified age. We don't knowingly collect information from or about anyone under 18.
Sensitive information we don't accept
Personalization is limited to non-sensitive trivia: hosts pick favorites from a fixed list of topics and choices instead of typing facts. Do not submit sensitive personal information. Know Me Best is built for light trivia — food, shows, hobbies, harmless preferences and travel wishes. We ask you not to enter, and our servers try to reject before saving or sending to our question-writing provider, text about health, sexual orientation or sex life, racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious beliefs, home addresses or precise locations, personal finances, payment cards, biometrics, or children. We also instruct the question writer not to ask about these topics and screen its output the same way. These safeguards reduce risk but don't guarantee every prohibited submission is detected, so please keep it to fun, everyday details. Card details are only ever entered on Stripe's payment page, never in game fields.
Why we use it
- To create your game and run the live round (performance of our contract with you).
- To run the free daily challenge, score it and keep your streak (performance of our contract with you).
- To keep the service secure and prevent abuse and fraud (legitimate interests).
- To count anonymous usage totals so we can improve the product (legitimate interests).
- To meet tax and accounting obligations for a sale (legal obligation).
Who we share it with
- Our hosting and database provider, which stores game data on our behalf.
- The language model provider that drafts question text from the facts you supply. We do not send it player names or answers.
- Stripe, our payment processor, for taking payment for a published game and for invoicing and tax records. Orders placed before we moved to Stripe were handled by our previous reseller.
- Our email delivery service, which sends us a short alert when a support request arrives. The alert contains only a reference number, the request type and the time — not your message or contact details.
- Professional advisers, and authorities where the law requires it.
Our hosting, database and AI providers process data for us under Lovable's Data Processing Agreement, which Lovable support has confirmed covers our Business workspace. We are still confirming the specific countries where each provider stores or accesses data; our database is indicated to be in the United States.
How long we keep it
- Unpublished Party Mode drafts: deleted 30 days after they are created.
- Published Party Mode games — questions, players, answers, scores and results: deleted 30 days after publication.
- Daily session details — locked predictions, your submitted answers and the per-session result: deleted 30 days after the session is created.
- Daily aggregate totals — your pseudonymous streak and lifetime accuracy numbers: kept for up to 365 days after your last activity, or until you ask us to delete them.
- Order records: kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires. They are not deleted when a game expires, and they contain only the amount, currency, status, provider reference and a non-identifying game reference — no questions, answers or player details.
Deletion runs automatically every day. You can also delete a Party Mode game yourself at any time from your host management page, which removes its questions, players, answers and results promptly. To be precise: we delete the records described above, but a required order record remains, and abuse-prevention records and routine encrypted backups may hold a copy for a short period before they roll over.
Deleting your daily challenge data
The daily challenge has no account, so we identify you only by a token in your browser. Clearing your browser storage detaches you from your streak; to have the stored records deleted, send a data deletion request through our support form with your Daily session ID (the code at the end of the result page address, not the full link) and the challenge date. We use that to locate the pseudonymous record.
Support requests and deletion requests
Support requests sent through our support form are stored in our database: the request type, your message, the email address you give for our reply, any room code, Daily session ID or receipt number you include, and private notes our team adds. Only one administrator account can read them, after signing in with Google and passing a check on our servers. We don't currently send email notifications about new requests. Requests are kept while open and deleted, with their notes, 90 days after they are resolved.
Sending a deletion request doesn't delete anything by itself. We first check that the data belongs to you, for example by matching a room code, host link or receipt. We then delete the game or Daily records. Order records needed for tax and accounting are kept, as described above.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask us for a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or withdraw consent. Send a request through our support form and we will respond within one month. If you are in the UK or EEA you may also complain to your supervisory authority. Data may be processed outside your country by our providers under standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Host and player links contain secret tokens that are stored only as hashes on our side, so we can verify a link without being able to reproduce it. Access to production data is restricted.
Cookies and local storage
We only use essential browser storage: a random device identifier, your saved host links, and your player session for a game. There are no advertising or tracking cookies, and we never sell participant data.
